We strive to provide the best care for kidney patients

The National Center for Kidney Diseases and Surgery provides integrated services including the localization of treatment by developing specialized plans and policies, and adopting technical standards for medicines and medical supplies. It also oversees the training of medical and technical staff, and performs specialized work in pharmacy, laboratories, medical engineering, and nursing, in addition to designing and supervising research plans, and establishing a statistical registry for kidney diseases to support the quality of healthcare.

Center Services

As part of ongoing efforts to enhance care for kidney patients in Sudan, we work to provide integrated services that include providing modern dialysis machines and essential medical supplies, along with the rehabilitation and development of kidney centers in various states to ensure the continuity of treatment. We are also keen on supporting specialized medical staff through training programs and international experience exchange, with the aim of increasing medical efficiency and improving the quality of care provided to thousands of patients. These efforts come within the framework of local and international partnerships that seek to alleviate suffering and ensure that health services reach kidney patients throughout the country.

The National Center has received full support from the Ministries of Finance and Health. In 2021 and 2022, the National Center witnessed a remarkable renaissance in terms of service provision and the application of the true objectives for which it was established.
